Tools & Databases

AbAMPdb

AbAMPdb is the manually-curated database for antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) specifically against Acinetobacter baumannii. The database provides information related to antimicrobial potentials, homology-based modelled structures and the peptide-protein interactions of these AMPs.

VacSol

VacSol a high throughput in silico pipeline to predict potential therapeutic targets in prokaryotic pathogens using subtractive reverse vaccinology

BVac-AI

BVac-AI is a web-based tool that uses machine learning algorithms to predict potential vaccine candidates in bacterial pathogens. It analyzes proteins in real-time and predicts vaccine targets with high throughput and accuracy.

VacSol-ML (ESKAPE)

VacSol-AI is a web-based tool that uses machine learning algorithms to predict potential vaccine candidates in ESKAPE pathogens, which are a group of bacteria that have been identified as causing significant challenges in healthcare. These pathogens have evolved to evade current antibiotics, making it difficult to treat infections they cause. The focus on ESKAPE pathogens in this tool is because they pose a major threat to public health and require effective vaccine solutions. By using high-throughput, in silico analysis, VacSol-AI aims to speed up the process of identifying potential vaccine candidates and help address the growing problem of antibiotic resistance.

PanRV

PanRV is a Linux based software package in JAVA language that uses both pangenome and reverse vaccinology approaches. It has four modules: Pangenome Estimation (PGM), Reverse Vaccinology (RVM), Functional Annotation (FAM), and Antibiotic Resistance Association (ARM). PanRV is the first automated pipeline to accurately identify potential vaccine candidates using microbial pangenomes.

B-Vac

B-vac is an updated version of VacSol, a high-throughput computational pipeline for predicting potential therapeutic targets in prokaryotic pathogens using the subtractive reverse vaccinology approach. Written in Python, B-vac builds upon the strengths of its predecessor, VacSol, and offers improved functionality and ease of use for the prediction of vaccine targets in bacterial pathogens. With its ability to quickly and accurately identify potential therapeutic targets, B-vac has the potential to play a significant role in the development of new vaccines and treatments for bacterial infections.

B-Pan

B-pan is the updated version of PanRV, a software package that employs both pangenome and reverse vaccinology approaches. Written in Python, B-pan builds upon the strengths of its predecessor, PanRV, and offers improved functionality and ease of use. Like PanRV, B-pan has four modules: Pangenome Estimation (PGM), Reverse Vaccinology (RVM), Functional Annotation (FAM), and Antibiotic Resistance Association (ARM). As the first comprehensive automated pipeline to accurately identify potential vaccine candidates using microbial pangenomes, B-pan has the potential to play a significant role in the development of new vaccines and treatments for bacterial infections.

rtAMPs-- (Coming soon)

rtAPMs is a real-time database designed to store and manage information about antimicrobial peptides. It allows for fast and efficient access to data on these biologically active compounds, making it a valuable resource for researchers in the field.
